CCE Software ("the App", "we", "us") is a school-administration application used by schools to record and manage Continuous & Comprehensive Evaluation (CCE) data — student marks, attendance, and related academic records — for students studying under the Maharashtra CCE framework. This Privacy Policy explains what information the App collects, how it is used, and the choices available to schools, teachers, and administrators who use it.
This App is published and maintained by Sugave Godavari, contactable at sugavegodavari476@gmail.com.
By creating an account or using the App, you agree to the collection and use of information as described in this Policy.
CCE Software is intended for use by schools, teachers, and school administrators — not directly by students or children. Any student information present in the App (names, class, marks, attendance, photographs) is entered and managed by authorised school staff on behalf of the school, as part of the school's own academic record-keeping.
| Category | What is collected | Collected from |
|---|---|---|
| Account / login information | Name, email address, mobile number, password (stored as a salted hash — never in plain text) | School admin / teacher, at sign-up |
| School information | School name, UDISE code, school logo/letterhead details | School admin |
| Student academic records | Student name, class/division, roll number, marks, grades, attendance, learning-outcome evaluations, and (optionally) a student photograph used for ID cards / registers | Entered by teachers/admin for the school's own records |
| Payment information | UPI/bank transfer reference number and payment amount, entered by the school admin to verify a license payment; the developer's UPI ID / payment details may also be displayed within the App to facilitate payment | Entered by school admin during license purchase or activation |
| App activity & security logs | Login timestamps, sign-in success/failure attempts, and a device identifier — used only to detect suspicious login activity and lock out repeated failed attempts | Generated automatically by the App |
| Diagnostic data | Basic app performance/sync-status information (e.g. whether cloud sync succeeded), stored locally to show sync status to the user | Generated automatically by the App |
The App does not collect precise location, contacts, camera/microphone access, or health data. We do not collect or store full card numbers, bank account numbers, or UPI PINs — only a transaction reference and amount for verification purposes.
We do not use this data for advertising, and we do not sell any data to third parties.
The App works offline-first: all data is saved on the device itself first (local storage), and is then synced in the background to Google Firebase / Cloud Firestore, scoped separately per school, so that one school's data cannot be read by another school.
Firebase (a Google Cloud service) acts as our data processor and stores data on our behalf, secured with access rules that isolate each school's records. Data in transit between the App and Firebase is encrypted (HTTPS/TLS).
Firebase infrastructure may store data on servers located outside India as part of Google's global cloud infrastructure. By using the App, you consent to this processing.
We do not share, sell, or rent personal or student data to advertisers or unrelated third parties. Data is only accessible to:
The App is not directed at children and is not used directly by children. Student records (including names, marks, and photographs) are entered and controlled entirely by the school as part of its own academic administration, in the same way a school maintains paper registers.
Schools are responsible for obtaining any parental/institutional consent required under applicable local law before entering student information into any digital record-keeping system, including this App.
Academic records are retained for as long as the school's account remains active, or as required by the school's own record-keeping obligations. Payment transaction references are retained only as long as necessary to verify the license and resolve any billing disputes.
A school administrator may request deletion of their school's account and associated data at any time (see Section 9). Once a deletion request is processed, data is permanently removed from our active systems; any residual copies in routine backups are purged within 30 days.
Any school administrator can request permanent deletion of their school's account and all associated data (login details, student records, payment references, synced files) by contacting:
📧 sugavegodavari476@gmail.com
📱 9403840736
Please include your school's name and UDISE code in the request so we can verify and locate the correct records. Requests are processed within 7 business days. All associated data is deleted; we do not currently offer deletion of individual data items without deleting the full account.
School administrators may request access to, correction of, or deletion of the data associated with their school account by contacting us using the details in Section 9.
We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. Material changes will be reflected by updating the "Last updated" date at the top of this page. Continued use of the App after changes are posted constitutes acceptance of the updated Policy.
This Policy is governed by the laws of India. Any disputes arising from this Policy or the use of the App will be subject to the jurisdiction of the courts in Pune, Maharashtra.
